Rattenfänger Firgurenspiel

Every day, the tragic story of the Pied Piper unfolds at the west gable of the wedding house – in a fascinating miniature format and accompanied by music. 
**Sequence of the Puppet Show** At 1:05 PM, 3:35 PM, and 5:35 PM, the bronze doors open, and the Pied Piper begins his rounds. The audience experiences his story: from freeing the town from the rats to the disappearance of the children. 
**Historical Background** The puppet and carillon, which was destroyed during the war, opened its doors for the first time again on October 4, 1964. The music is by Jürgen Langehein (1923-1992). The figures were designed by Harro Siegel (1900-1985) and crafted by Walter Volland (1898-1980). 
**Musical Accompaniment** Additionally, the Weserlied is played daily at 9:35 AM and the Pied Piper song at 11:35 AM over the carillon at the west gable of the building.
