This gives guests and hikers the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Corvey's wine history. After all, the Benedictines were among the largest owners of vineyards in the Middle Ages, as the former Imperial Abbey of Corvey clearly shows.
Seven biblical stations offer spiritual experiences along the way. These anchor points encourage you to pause, take a break, leave everyday life behind and find out more. An open book is attached to oak steles, in which the hiker is informed on one side about the importance of Corvey Abbey in the Middle Ages and its wine history, while the other side contains Bible texts.

The route of the circular path resembles a lasso. The outward and return routes are identical for a long way. From the car park, the trail leads slightly uphill to the old vineyard chapel. Here it is worth taking a look through the door into this baroque gem. Further uphill, the path follows an old row of chestnut trees onto a forest track and then turns left past the nature reserve. Old remains of walls from the time of vineyard terracing can be seen on the slopes above. The path follows a newly laid out, grassy path downhill until you leave the forest and reach the new vineyard. The path leads around the vineyard in an easterly direction along the edge of the forest to a viewing station with a bench under an oak tree. From here, the path follows a small flight of wooden steps, then continues along a grassy path until it rejoins the outward route at an old cherry tree. From here, it follows the row of chestnut trees back to the starting point.
