Due to its location in the middle of the Weserbergland, the town is an ideal starting point for day trips in the region. The Weser cycle path can be cycled on both sides here, so you can enjoy wonderful circular tours along the river. Or take the train to Bad Driburg and cycle back to Höxter along the Nethe. There are many possibilities for an active short vacation by bike.
