The bicycle and passenger ferry in Heinsen, operated by the Heinsen Ferry Association, connects the picturesque village with the popular Weser Cycle Path.

The ferry can be used to transport pedestrians and cyclists from the former shipping village of Heinsen across the Weser. A new slipway was built in 2020 and the historic landing stage was reactivated as a jetty.
